We are taking Covid very seriously at St Ives House as we want to protect our guests, team and locals as best as possible.
St Ives Town Council have implemented an Emergency Safety Plan for 2020 and traffic restrictions will be in place throughout the town centre from 11am – 4pm daily. This is because of the narrow streets making it hard to social distance. The check in time will be after 4pm onwards, to accommodate the housekeeping requirements and the traffic restrictions.
We are performing a two step process clean, which involves disinfectant in one of the stages on all surfaces, handles and kitchenware. Our cleaners will also be required to wear PPE during house keeping. We have all our linen professional laundered and will rotate our mattress and pillow protectors. We are also limiting the amount of soft furnishing and kitchenware. There will be antibacterial hand wash at every sink for the guests.
Guests & Linen
We currently require that all guests strip their linen and put in the bags provided before they leave.
We will be leaving the keys in a key safe for social distancing purposes.
Check in and out times
Due to the cleaning process we have to be stricter on our check out time which is 10am. Check in time is after 4pm and we cannot take in luggage before then as our housekeeping team will be working in the house.
If the government locks the UK down again due to COVID, we will refund you fully. However we cannot offer a refund if you or your party get COVID and have to cancel your holiday.
Disclaimer: Though we will do our best at keeping St Ives House as clean as possible, we cannot guarantee you will not catch COVID on your holiday. We do highly advise if you are vulnerable to wait till the risk has eased before booking your stay.
