Victoria Western Review

Just to say thanks for all the many lovely touches in the house – it’s so well organized and set up – and the generosity with towels and bath wash, laundry and cleaning items etc is fantastic.

It’s also such an amazing location for everything St Ives has to offer, as well as people watching on The Wharf !

Also thanks again Julia for sorting us out with the parking and luggage – it was very kind of you to help us carry and move our really rather heavy cases and eliminated a great deal of potential stress driving down to the house ourselves, so really was much appreciated and just wonderful to have an easy parking space so close to town !
Some more positive feedback – I also wanted to thank you for helping us find Natasha, the private chef, via your referral. She was fantastic ! I would happily recommend her to any of your future guests if they want a wonderful meal in your beautiful house with zero effort.
She was very helpful on the email ahead of our stay, suggesting a couple of options for the menu and what would work best with our dietary requirements and timing. She arrived at 5.30pm as per my request with a stocked cooler box and everything prepped; she served canapés on the top floor and then dinner at the dining table – both were served exactly according to the timetable we’d asked. Her pricing was also transparent and fair.
We’d asked for a special piece of meat for our main course, which she’d pre-ordered from the local butcher and seared on her BBQ at home, so it was ready to finish off in the oven at the house. Everything was beautifully presented and she’d used fresh local ingredients that tasted amazing. She cleared after each course and loaded the dishwasher, leaving me with no washing up.
She was also friendly, professional and clearly passionate about her business, and made it a very special evening indeed! This is her Facebook page in case you or any of your other guests would like to take a look: https://www.facebook.com/natashaprivatechefhire/
Many thanks again for everything.
Kind regards, Victoria
